What is E-Waste?
Electronic waste or e-waste describes discarded electrical or electronic devices. Used electronics which are destined for reuse, resale, salvage, recycling, or disposal are also considered e-waste. Air-conditioners are a significant category of e-waste due to their refrigerants and electronic components.
Our Recycling Process
Island-Wide Collection
Our fleet collects scrap and used aircon units door-to-door from offices, schools, showrooms, factories, and homes across Singapore.
Sorting & Assessment
Back at our facility, units are sorted into two groups: those suitable for repair/reuse, and those destined for recycling.
Refrigerant Recovery
Units in the recycle stream go through our Refrigerant Recovery line for safe refrigerant extraction, in compliance with environmental standards.
Manual Dismantling
After refrigerant extraction, units are manually dismantled. Parts are sorted and sold to our various approved recycling channels and companies.
Repair & Resale
Units assessed as good condition go through further testing, repair where necessary, and are made available for resale as 2nd hand aircons.
